Global advances in technology and world politics unquestionably have an impact on the entertainment business.  D2DMN as a strong advocate of live music is not immune to the impact these changes have on our network.  In order to remain at the cutting edge of the best our industry has to offer, we are constantly updating our website and searching for new and improved methods for conducting and growing our business. 

We are in the process of rewriting our business philosophy in order to better reflect the live music industry as it is today. 

In the aftermath of 9/11, the continuing global war on terrorism and the many serious crimes that have negatively impacted schools, we feel it is necessary to encourage the postive aspects of live music.  D2DMN will continue working with individuals and groups without regard to genre.  While the underground and pop metal genre is built upon theatre and vocalizing the dark side of humanity, D2DMN recognizes that most metal is an expression of reality and not an actual endorsement of evil.  Metal tends to market to an audience that finds the dark side of humanity appealing.  D2DMN, however, will not support any group or individual, mainstream or underground, that demonstrates the inability to be professional; that is: to be courteous to others, to respect and obey the law and to refrain from activities that demonstrate a lack of maturity or education sufficient to recognize that recruiting friends and relatives to pose as a following, instructing them to walk off on any performer, encouraging sound management to compromise sound for any live act, engaging in naive behaviors on the internet or during events, are all damaging to live music and have no place in our network or in the live music industry.  D2DMN is committed to supporting bands and audiences that contribute unselfishly to the appeal of wider audiences of live music.  There is room for everyone in the live music arena.  Those that do not share this philosophy will not participate in our network.
